Why moqyi exists.
A photographer’s notebook, rebuilt for the moment your hands are full.
A note from the founder
The best ideas on a shoot never arrive at a good time. They show up between frames, halfway up a ladder, in the middle of the edit — and by the time the camera is down and the notes app is open, they’re gone.
Typing doesn’t work with a camera rolling and your hands full. Even “open the app, find the button” is already too slow. So moqyi starts from one line: I have a thought, capture it. Every door — the Lock Screen, the Action Button, Back Tap, Siri — leads to the same screen, and the recording is saved on your iPhone the moment you stop.
The goal is simple: retire the physical notebook. That’s why core capture is free forever, and why every build, decision and dead end goes on the changelog, in public.
What we hold to
One action, many doors.
“I have a thought, capture it.” Every feature serves that line.
Safe before smart.
Save first. Transcription, sync and anything clever happen afterwards.
Honest about iOS.
What Apple allows, what it doesn’t, and what we did about it.
Built in public.
Every build and decision goes on the changelog.
