The first beta is a small group of 20–50 photographers and filmmakers with an iPhone on iOS 18 or newer. Sign up, confirm your email, and we'll invite people in small batches. Join the beta

When your spot is ready we email you, and Apple's TestFlight sends the invite. The guide walks you from that email to your first recording in about three minutes. Read the TestFlight guide

Take a screenshot in moqyi, tap it, then Share Beta Feedback. It reaches us with your build number attached. Other ways to reach us

Yes, anytime. Open TestFlight, tap moqyi and choose Stop Testing, or simply delete the app.

Apple requires every app to come to the front to start the microphone. moqyi shows an empty recording screen for that moment — swipe it away and recording keeps going. More on the recording screen

Not to start a recording. Apple reserves the side button, and the volume buttons can't start a recording from the Lock Screen or another app. Inside moqyi you can set the volume buttons to stop a recording.

Yes. Recording, saving and transcription all happen on your iPhone, even in airplane mode. Sync catches up quietly when you're back online.

Your recording is kept. The file is written as you speak, so everything up to that moment is already saved on your iPhone.

Yes. A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows it's recording, with a Stop button. See the Live Activity

Only if you tap Add. One recording is one note; if you record again within two minutes moqyi asks "Add to last note?" and it's always your call.

Optional live text is available inside the app. Either way, transcription happens on your iPhone.

On your iPhone first. It then syncs quietly to your account, hosted by Supabase in Canada (Canada Central region). Read the Privacy Policy

Yes. Words appear without sending your audio anywhere.

Not by default. A later paid option for AI categorizing and summaries sends notes out only if you turn it on.

Yes — notes export to Markdown or plain text, with audio optional.

It waits 30 days in Recently Deleted, so you can bring it back. After that it's gone.
