An account is optional. moqyi works fully signed out and offline — signing in is what lets your notes sync and back up.
Capture never waits for an account. If you're signed out or offline, recording works exactly the same — notes simply stay on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open Settings › Account › Sign in.
You can also sign in from the welcome screens the first time you open moqyi, or tap Not now and do it later.
Step 2: Choose Apple, Google or email.
- Sign in with Apple — you can hide your email; Apple then gives moqyi a private relay address.
- Continue with Google — pick your Google account. (Shown only in builds where Google sign-in is set up.)
- Continue with email — no password; we email you a code.
moqyi never sees your Apple or Google password.
Step 3: Email: type the 6-digit code.
Check your inbox for an email from moqyi and type the code. On iPhone it usually appears above the keyboard, so one tap fills it in.
Step 4: Sign out.
Settings › Account › Sign out ends the session on this iPhone. Every note stays on the phone.
Step 5: Delete your account.
Settings › Account › Delete account, then confirm. This deletes your account and everything synced to it — notes, projects and audio stored with your account. Notes on this iPhone are kept, so nothing you have in your hand disappears.
Try it
Sign in, then turn on airplane mode and relaunch moqyi. You should still be signed in — and recording works instantly.
