Smart suggestions.

Works on: iPhones with Apple Intelligence, iOS 26Takes: about a minuteUpdated NOV 5, 2026

A title and a few tags, suggested by Apple’s on-device model. Nothing leaves your iPhone, and nothing changes unless you tap.

On this page
Smart suggestions use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models, so they only appear on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26) with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other iPhones, the chips and the setting are simply hidden.

Step 1: Open a note.

A moment after a note is saved, moqyi asks Apple’s on-device model for a title (only if the note doesn’t have one yet) and up to 3 tags. They appear as chips under the note’s tags. Suggestions are never made while you’re recording.

Step 2: Tap to use — or ignore.

Tap Use title: … or + #tag to apply a suggestion. Nothing is applied automatically; if you ignore the chips, the note stays exactly as it is.

Step 3: Turn it off.

Settings › Smart suggestions — it’s on by default. Switch it off and moqyi stops making suggestions.

“On this day” and “Related ideas” are different features: they don’t use the AI model, and they run on any iPhone. How they work.
